AnyGood? announces appointment of new non-executive director as part of growth plans

AnyGood? , the crowdsourcing talent platform has appointed Jeanette Rooms as a non-executive director as part of continued growth plans.

Jeanette brings an extensive multi-sector experience of industries such as HR, project management and operations to the young company. She has spent over 20 years in the sector, heading up HR functions at companies such as the World Gold Council, Lehmann Brothers and Study Group. Jeanette has also represented Great Britain in the Triathlon World Championship and completed five marathons.

Commenting on the move, Jeanette stated:

“Having spent over two decades in human resources, it’s become clear to me that areas of the industry are prime for disruption. The sector has become out-of-touch with the people it serves and needs transformation. Successful recruitment starts with the candidate, and treating them with the necessary care, attention, and professionalism they deserve is something many staffing and recruiting firms have recently failed at doing.

AnyGood?’s novel technological solution to these problems is something that greatly appealed to me. Their dedication towards shaping the sector into something built on trust and based on people is truly admirable, and I intend to offer all my knowledge and experience to ensuring sustained growth for the company so that they can realise their ambitions.“

Juliet Ecclestone, Co-founder of AnyGood, added:

“As AnyGood? seeks to grow and further its efforts to disrupt and improve the recruitment industry, we’re constantly on the lookout for expert talent to help us do this. Jeanette’s wealth of knowledge, experience and proven leadership qualities make her a perfect fit for this. I have no doubt her appointment will add significant value to our business, clients, and candidates”
