New Guard Coatings Welcome Arcon to the Group

New Guard Coatings Group are pleased to announce the takeover of Arcon Construction Supplies. The Wetherby based business have added Arcon to the group portfolio as they look to execute their business plan of full UK coverage and shows further growth for the business. This takeover is with immediate effect.

With a well-respected local reputation, bringing Arcon into the New Guard Coatings Group was a simple and straightforward decision for Managing Director Ben Cooper “We’re very excited to welcome the Arcon team into the NGC Group family. They have all been with the company for a long time and have the same ethos and values that we already hold around the group.”

Ben further added “Arcon gives us access to markets and products which complement our current offering.”

Managing Director of Arcon, Ian Beswick commented “We are really happy to become part of the New Guard Coatings Group, who with their proven track record, can ensure the business continues for the staff and customers alike- whilst also providing exciting opportunities for the future.”

“With a deal being in the pipeline since May, this has been a straightforward process, which is a credit to both parties and the esteem that we hold each other’s businesses in” Ben added.

As with previous take overs involving New Guard Coatings, Arcon will be maintaining their own branding and identity.
