Regional garage company expands with third new site worth over £700k
Turners Garage Ltd has continued to expand with opening of its third site in Yorkshire, and the second in the south of the region.
The Selby-based company, opened the new 12,000 sq ft facility in Sheffield, located just off junction 31 off the M1. Over £700k has been invested into the site, with new equipment installed including two new commercial spray booths.
Stuart said: “We are extremely pleased with the support and commitment from the new team and look forward to the future working together.
“Sheffield is our second new site within 10 months and we have worked again with Blacks Solicitors to secure the building.
“We are focused on maintaining the values and respect our family business has been built on. All of our team members are key to the success of the company.
The expansion is a great start to the company’s 50th year in business and helps us to cement our future in the industry.“
The Sheffield site is the third Turners branch to open, following its flagship Selby facility, and Doncaster site which opened in March 2018.
The on-site team alongside managing director, Stuart Turner, have already secured approvals and volume from a number of major work providers.
Jennifer Roberts, an associate solicitor in the commercial property team at Blacks Solicitors, who facilitated the lease of the industrial unit, added: “This was a brilliant opportunity for us to be involved in as the deal specifically required industrial occupier knowledge, which is an area the team specialises in.
“This is the second unit we have facilitated for the business in the last year and we were delighted to be able to help Turners Garage once again.”
