'Significant' lease renewal on cards for 1.8m sq ft Chiswick Park
Chiswick Park, the business campus located in West London, has announced that Discovery has renewed its lease on the 1.8 million sq ft business park.
The global media company has agreed a new long-term lease and will continue to occupy over 100,000 sq ft at Chiswick Park. Discovery has had a major presence at Chiswick Park for more than 12 years.
This deal is said to be a major milestone for Chiswick Park, demonstrating its continued relevance as a dominant media cluster in London as it retains and attracts a new wave of diverse occupiers.
Matt Coulson, CEO of Chiswick Park Enjoy-Work, said: “We are committed to giving our guests the workspaces they need to be at their best and enhance their productivity. The success of our guest companies is our success.
“Discovery is a prime example of the strong business relationship built over the last 14 years. We look forward to continuing this journey together at Chiswick Park.”
Chiswick Park is home to some of the world’s biggest companies including QVC, Pernod Ricard, IMG, Starbucks, CBS, Paramount, Danone and Sony.
Made up of 12 buildings, Chiswick Park brings together over 9,000 workers and benefits from its on-site property management team, Enjoy-Work, who are responsible for overseeing and performing the daily operations of the campus as well as running a programme of regular activities and concierge services dedicated to the guests.
JLL and DLA Piper acted for Discovery. DTRE and Herbert Smith Freehills acted for the landlord.
