PR Firm Loses Loyal Client

After 15 years in business, a PR firm has lost its longest serving client. Thankfully Morpeth and Newcastle based Highlights PR hasn’t lost their client because of poor media coverage or other business reasons, it’s because one of the longest established recruitment experts in the region is retiring. Sara Eke who runs North Northumberland based Sara Eke Recruitment is taking a well-deserved break from the hustle and bustle of CVs, interviews and appointments to spend more leisure time with her husband Brian on their Amble based boat where they both enjoy sailing and fishing.
Over the past thirty years, Sara has developed a reputation for quality, timeliness and industry expertise with many of the region’s top businesses including construction companies, industrial manufacturers and service led businesses. Her business specialised in handling vacancies for permanent and interim positions in a number of categories including Office Support, Marketing, Human Resources, Customer Service, Manufacturing, Sales, Management, Finance, Technical and Legal. In the last 15 years, Sara has placed more than 500 people into permanent jobs with total salaries in excess of £9.0 million. Keith Newman of Highlights PR said, “Sara was my first customer when I started the business and she has remained loyal to Highlights PR ever since. It’s been a pleasure creating campaigns and press releases for her which have helped to promote her business amongst the region’s business community.” Sara said, “It was a tough decision to retire as I really enjoy my work and the contact I have with people all over the North East and beyond but after 30 years in the recruitment business it’s time to spend more time with my husband and enjoy our leisure time on our boat. “From first meeting Keith he understood my passion for recruitment and quickly believed in my goals and was able to professionally portray these along with my achievements. He’s also highlighted the support I have given my local community and charities,” said Sara. Some of the highlights of Sara’s media coverage include helping Amble Marina with a key appointment, a major contract with one of the region’s largest construction companies and a charity swim where she raised the grand total of £1,420 for an ovarian cancer charity. Sara would like to thank her many clients and candidates for their support and business. “I’m sad to lose her as a client but as a friend we will be staying in touch, especially with our mutual love of boats,” said Keith.
