Manchester cycling team unveil new support and launch new kit for forthcoming season

Crimson Performance Orientation Marketing RT, an ambitious elite race team from Manchester, set up by rider Matt Hallam, has this week announced both its men and women squads, new kit as well as it’s partnership support.

The team was founded to provide opportunities for upcoming riders in the North West to race in the higher profile races across the UK.

Chester-based marketing agency, Orientation Marketing, top the bill as title sponsors for the team, who are joined by Brother UK, ANS and Grasscroft amongst a range of other local businesses.

The agency will support the team for its second season as title sponsors, providing continual resources, contacts and support in what is dubbed as a “perfect partnership.”

“We are excited to support Crimson Performance for a second year and increase our commitment to the team as the title sponsor. It was a fantastic experience watching the team from the road side at Premier Calendar and Tour Series races in 2018 acquit themselves so well and represent our brand in the best possible way” said Orientation Marketing Director and Co-founder, Chris Lawson.

“The team’s growth of the last 12 months mirrors our own. We have grown our client portfolio as our reputation increased in the industries we work in, and we added further team members to our UK office and launched a second office in Montpellier, France. As we help our clients communicate their innovations which enable consumers to live healthier, longer lives we cannot think of a better vehicle to align our brand with than Crimson Performance Orientation Marketing RT.”

Team rider, Jake Womersley, said: “Crimson Performance Orientation Marketing RT has big ambitions for 2019, this was a big draw for me as it’s always a great motivation going into the winter training months. I hope to be able to use my previous Premier Calendar race experience to help my teammates, but also take my chances at the races that I feel suit my riding style like Lincoln GP & Stockton GP.”

“The aim is always to get the hands in the air, so this year I want to also focus on some National B races and get that winning feeling back in the Crimson Performance colours.”

The team will soon travel to Spain’s Mediterranean coast where final preparations will take place at the team’s official training camp at Calpe. The season will then kick off in Clitheroe, Lancashire with the Clayton Velo Spring Classic on the 24th of February.
