Mactaggart and Mickel's Strategic Land Team celebrates its 10th anniversary with clients at a traditional Burns Lunch in the Cotswolds

10 years of success for luxury housebuilder’s land team

Award-winning housebuilder Mactaggart and Mickel are celebrating a decade of success from their Strategic Land Division this month.

Between 2009 and 2019, the luxury housebuilder’s Strategic Land Team have used their expertise and experience to identify and secure over 2,000 acres of land, four times the size of the Olympic Park in London. The team have an excellent track record of successfully taking land through the planning process, achieving planning consent for over 3,000 much needed homes in England

In just the last year, the team have secured an interest in 800 plots, submitted planning applications for 550 homes and gained planning consent for 485 new homes.

After almost 100 years of growth across Scotland, the housebuilder has recently expanded their house building operations into England bringing their vast experience and luxury home offering to the Cotswold market.

The Strategic Land Team celebrated their decade of achievements with their client network at a seasonal Burns lunch. The lunch continued the family theme with Ross Mickel piping in the haggis and the traditional Address to the Haggis from Andrew Mickel.
