Leeds Signage Firm Adds to Awards Haul
The team at signage and graphics specialist FASTSIGNS Leeds is celebrating after picking up three international awards.
Franchisee Andy Simpson, who runs the Leeds centre on York Road, attended the FASTSIGNS 2019 international convention in Orlando, Florida, along with more than 700 fellow franchisees and staff from FASTSIGNS centres around the world. As part of the convention’s awards ceremony at the Hyatt Regency Orlando, FASTSIGNS Leeds picked up an award for sales achievement, with Andy also receiving individual recognition for his contributions to the firm’s marketing efforts in the UK, as well as the CEO Circle award for the highest sales volume centre within the FASTSIGNS UK Network.
Andy was presented with the awards by FASTSIGNS’ global CEO, Catherine Monson.
Commenting on the success, Andy said:
“These awards are the culmination of a real team effort to drive business growth.
“I have attended the International Convention each year for the past twenty years. It’s always a great experience to visit the US and meet with other franchisees from around the world. It’s always a fantastic networking and learning experience and it’s a privilege to be recognised for our efforts and help our fellow franchisees celebrate their successes too.
“Being a part of the global FASTSIGNS network is hugely supportive and it’s great to hear of so many businesses going from strength-to-strength.”
John Davies, FASTSIGNS UK managing director, added:
“Each year these awards serve as a great reminder of the efforts of all our franchisees from around the world. Every one of our franchisees works extremely hard throughout the year but I’m incredibly proud of FASTSIGNS Leeds for being recognised at an international level too.”
FASTSIGNS Leeds’ international awards follow on from success closer to home at the end of 2018. In November, Leeds was named Franchisee of the Year at the FASTSIGNS UK convention, and also scooped the Sales Achievement of the Year title. In addition, Andy picked up the Central Marketing Fund (CMF) Board Member award, Rebecca Holliday was awarded gold for the Salesperson with Highest Revenue, while graphic designer Vinny Symes collected second place for Employee of the Year due to 15 years of loyal service.
