Slug & Lettuce Minories to open after £510,000 investment
Following a large-scale investment of over half-a-million pounds (£510,000), leading high-street brand Slug & Lettuce is set to open the doors of its latest London location on Monday 4th March.
Located on Minories, in the heart of Tower Hill and just around the corner from Aldgate Station, the new venue replaces Abbey bar and will feature a very stylish décor – full of bold prints, touches of neon and flashes of gold.
Guests have ample choice when it comes to booking at this venue with the ability to opt for pre-bookable space, private areas for meetings to even full venue hire. Customers can book one of Slug & Lettuce’s famous cocktail masterclasses and enjoy it in the new VIP station. They can also enjoy the new birdcage seating areas and a wide range of packages to kick-start any celebration – from girls’ nights out to hen parties, birthdays or even baby showers. A mezzanine VIP area has also been created, which can be pre-booked for an extra-glam experience.
The food menu is full of dishes to entice every palate, from lighter dishes to hearty mains, small plates and sharing boards. The drinks list will transport you to cocktail heaven and, of course, features the famous Pornstar Martini tree, another Insta-worthy addition and the perfect accessory to any night out. 2-4-1 cocktails will be available Monday to Friday between 4pm and 10pm, and wine aficionados can enjoy bottles from £12 on “Wine Down Wednesdays”.
To celebrate the grand opening, Slug & Lettuce Minories will be hosting a VIP Launch night* on Friday 15th March from 5pm, where the first 100 guests to RSVP will be treated with glass of fizz on arrival and canapes throughout the evening.
Radek Ciula, General Manager at Slug & Lettuce Minories, said: “We are thrilled to be opening a brand-new Slug & Lettuce in London. We’ve worked hard to create a very stylish venue that is perfect for all occasions, be it a breakfast meeting, a midweek bite or any night out or celebration.”
