Latest communication agency launches in Yorkshire

A new full-service marketing agency has launched in the region.

It is said to offer communication specialisms under one roof, focused on delivering a customer directed, results driven, value-met service to clients.

The Northern Communications Group has been established to provide a through-the-line ‘umbrella’ offer, to include marketing, public relations, publishing, advertising, social and digital and branding advice.

With a London-based approach, Northern Communications Group is one of the first agencies of its kind to be located in the region, with headquarters in Sheffield and York.

The group has been founded by Chris Grieveson, a specialist within consultancy and change management.

Grieveson said: “The north is a growing harbour of economic opportunity, with an increasing number of national and international businesses looking to relocate to the region and invest.

“The key objective behind the NCG was to develop a comprehensive, sophisticated marketing offer that is customer focused, results driven and great value for money.

“We are proud to be bringing together a set of professional experts with a raft of specialist understanding to best serve the needs of our clients.”

MK Public Relations, based in South Yorkshire; and Goldtempest Media, a York-based media advertising agency have joined the group, each operating as wholly owned subsidiaries; and with further group announcements due to be made imminently.

MK, which has represented a number of regional and national organisations from legal and professional services through to shopping centres and retailers, to include Irwin Mitchell LLP; Meadowhall Shopping Centre and McCain Foods, has been operating for over 15 years.

Goldtempest Media brings experience in buying, planning, production and design across all media platforms ranging from TV, radio, press to online.
