Newcastle dentist to represent the North East at national awards ceremony

A rising star from a leading aesthetic dental and skin clinic is the only dentist in the North East to be recognised by the industry for her exceptional skills in teeth whitening.

Gulshan Dhanoya, a dentist at Honour Health in Jesmond, Newcastle upon Tyne, has been shortlisted as a finalist in the teeth whitening category at the upcoming Aesthetic Dentistry Awards.

The Aesthetic Dentistry Awards is one of the most prestigious occasions in the dental calendar, recognising the very best in aesthetic dentistry on a national scale.

Gulshan is the only dentist from the North East to make the grade for the extremely competitive teeth whitening category, and has been shortlisted with just nine other dentists across the UK and Ireland. Several of these candidates hail from long-established aesthetic practices in London’s Harley Street.

The winner will be announced at a glittering awards ceremony in the Landmark Hotel in London on March 22, 2019.

Gulshan studied dentistry in Valencia, Spain, and returned to the UK two years ago to work at Honour Health – an aesthetic dental and skin clinic in the heart of Jesmond. She has since completed her examination for the Membership for the Joint Dental Faculties (MJDF) and has attended an aesthetics masterclass at the Eastman Dental Institute, University College London (UCL), where she is also studying for a Masters degree in Restorative Dentistry.

Gulshan said: “I’m delighted to be selected by the aesthetic dental industry as a finalist for my work in teeth whitening. It’s a real privilege to be shortlisted so early on in my career, and I’m so happy to be in the company of such high achieving dentists from across the UK and Ireland. I’m really looking forward to representing the region at the awards ceremony next month.”

Honour Health, based on Osborne Road in Jesmond, offers a wide range of aesthetic dental treatments including teeth whitening, Invisalign, dental implants and veneers.

Honour Health was also a finalist in the Best Practice category at The Dentistry Awards 2018.

Honour Health Jesmond has two sister practices in Stanley and Ponteland.
