£3.25m Investment in Used Car Expansion
Family-owned Swansway Motor Group, which operates Motor Match Used Car Centres next door to its Swansway Honda Bolton, Rochdale and Stockport dealerships is expanding its Motor Match used car operations in Bolton and Stockport.
Swansway director, David Smyth explained, “We launched Motor Match as our stand-alone used car operation in 2017 and we’re now investing a further £3.25 million to expand the centres in Bolton and Stockport and opening a stand-alone Motor Match centre in Stafford later in 2019”.
“The investment will create a further 16 jobs at the Motor Match sites which, combined with the Honda centres where they’re located, already employ 85 people”, added David.
“As a motor dealer group with a large number of premium franchises, we take many lovely pre-owned cars in as part exchanges, rather than send these to auction or sell on to traders, Motor Match allows us to give retail customers the opportunity to purchase these excellent cars”.
“We only retail those cars which we believe offer our customers great value and the expansion of our Motor Match sites will mean we can retail more of these cars”, added David.
