Ventile® Appoints Newcastle Based Karol Marketing
High performance fabric manufacturer, Stotz & Co., has appointed Karol Marketing as its European PR agency to raise the profile of its Ventile® fabric.
Operating for nearly 30 years, Karol Marketing is a specialist in raising awareness of technical performance clothing and fabric brands amongst trade and wider consumer audiences.
First working with Stotz & Co. two decades ago on a competitor fabric, Karol Marketing has now been appointed to deliver an impactful public relations campaign that will showcase the fabric manufacturer’s Ventile brand within UK and European media. The agency will communicate Ventile’s® profile as a premium performance fabric in the lifestyle, industrial and outdoor sports sectors, with a PR programme that showcases its heritage, its customers and the brand’s plans for future growth.
Developed in England in 1943, Ventile® is the world’s most effective, breathable, all weather natural fabric. Ventile®’s current range of textiles are 100% cotton and utilise the finest, long staple fibres, only found in the top 2% of the world’s cotton crop. After gentle spinning and doubling, the yarn is woven into a very dense weave, which uses 30% more yarn than conventional woven fabrics, creating a premium end product.
Designed to achieve the best possible balance of performance and comfort, Ventile® is highly water resistant due to the unique performance characteristics of the fabric. When it comes into contact with water, the densely woven fibres swell, closing the weave tight enough to stop water penetration.
