Haywards Park business hub one step closer with appointment of Vail Williams

The Commercial Park Group (TCPG) has appointed Crawley-based property consultants, Vail Williams LLP, to market office development, Haywards Park, West Sussex.

With 65,000 sq ft of high-quality grade A office space on offer, Haywards Park, at Haywards Heath, aims to offer the highest quality of office accommodation available south of London.

The park boasts excellent transport links into and out of the Gatwick region, it is set to attract major interest from international businesses looking to be located outside London.

TCPG promotes and delivers business parks across the South East and appointed Vail Williams alongside JLL and Crickmay Chartered Surveyors to attract national and international firms to take occupancy.

John Baker, The Commercial Park Group said: “We’re delighted to have Vail Williams on board to help us take advantage of the huge opportunity we see in Haywards Heath – an incredibly well-connected major town yet benefiting from some of the UK’s most beautiful countryside on its doorstep.”

TCPG achieved planning consent for phase one of Haywards Park in 2018, comprising 65,000 sq ft of grade A office space, and is currently in talks with neighbouring landowners to progress future phases of the 400,000 sq ft scheme.

Stephen Oliver, Partner at Vail Williams’ Crawley office, said: “This development offers a fantastic opportunity for businesses looking to take advantage of a strategic location, high-quality finish, and a good standard of green credentials – the latter of which is integral to our client’s brand ethos.”

TCPG’s integrated approach to master-planning creates vibrant, green and accessible buildings and campuses to address the current shortage of grade A office supply across the South East, helping businesses and their people to ‘find zen’ in the office.

“Most office buildings in Haywards Heath are no longer fit for purpose, which means large international companies have, until now, been looking elsewhere to set up their headquarters. We identified this trend in each of our key locations across the south east and are looking to transform the workplace accordingly,” concluded Mr Baker.

It is one of three business hubs currently being delivered by TCPG across the South East, including Bromley Park and Gatwick Park in Crawley.

In 2018 Vail Williams was appointed to work with TCPC on the development of 200,000 sq ft of offices at the Gatwick Park site, to be delivered in two phases.
