tyrZ for Tyres Marks Major Milestone

Bollington-based tyrZ for Tyres, is marking a significant milestone as it celebrates 15 successful years in business.

The family-run company formed in 2004, providing a tyre supply and fitting service to local residents. From a single mobile van located in Cheshire’s rural Peak District, tyrZ has since expanded its offering and now boasts a fleet of service vehicles and two depots.

Across its 15 years of trading, tyrZ has made a series of significant investments, opening its first branch in Bollington in 2011 and marking the launch of its second outlet in Congleton with a mayoral opening. The local business has also invested heavily in in state-of-the-art equipment, enabling it to continue its offering of a first-class service.

Owners, Andy and Judith Ritchie commented: “We take great pride in our achievements throughout these 15 years of business. We formed tyrZ with the sole aim of providing great value tyres, coupled with an honest and reliable service. We started just with one van but now have a fleet of vehicles and two drive in centres – our values haven’t changed though, we still strive to retain the principles on which we were founded.”

“One of the most exciting parts of our venture was the opening of our first depot in Bollington; everyone is very supportive of the many independent businesses this town has to offer and there’s a great community spirit.”
