Victory for Air IT as Winners in Global Service Desk Awards
East Midlands based managed service provider (MSP) Air IT was crowned as the Best Small Enterprise MSP at the IT Service & Support Awards, organised annually by the Service Desk Institute (SDI).
Now in its 24th year, the IT Service & Support Awards celebrate the achievements of service desk teams from around the globe. This year’s black-tie ceremony took place on Tuesday 26th March at the Birmingham Hilton Metropole.
The win comes as great news for the leading ICT company, which serves over 400 clients across the region and nationwide.
James Healey, Managing Director at Air IT, said: “We’re honoured to be named as the Best Small Enterprise MSP at this year’s IT Service & Support Awards. This fantastic achievement recognises the outstanding contribution we make to our clients every day. “This year was an exceptionally tough one and we were up against some brilliant teams. After narrowly missing out on the same award last year, we couldn’t be more delighted to take home the trophy this time round.
“It’s a true testament to the Air IT team’s hard work, dedication and the unrivalled service we deliver to our clients.”
Established in 1988, the Service Desk Institute (SDI) partners with companies worldwide to provide support and guidance on best industry practice. Chief Executive Officer at the SDI, Tessa Troubridge, said of the win: “It’s a fantastic achievement for Air IT to be Best Small Enterprise MSP 2019, and one of which all the team should be exceptionally proud. This category was fiercely contended with some phenomenal entries - very many congratulations and well done to all the Air IT team.”
Healey adds: “I’d like to say a huge well done to all the runners-up and our fellow winners, who made the ceremony such a memorable night for all. Roll on next year!” Air IT recently became the first managed service provider in the East Midlands to achieve 3-Star Service Desk Certification, and is independently ranked as one of the world’s most progressive MSPs and number 1 in the Midlands.
