Venture capitalists raise £150k funding for 'innovative' betting platform
Bettingmetrics has completed a £150k investment round led by RLC Ventures.
Bettingmetrics is a platform where betting activities are collated into a single place, connecting punters and bookmakers. The online platform allows punters to read news, compare odds and place bets.
After winning the London Accelerator programme, it launched its first prototype in February 2017. Since its last funding round, they have managed to gather a strong team of developers and marketers.
Bettingmetrics was founded by Martin Grozev in the summer of 2016, who said: “I am extremely happy with our progress so far and in particular with the success we achieved launching Bettingmetrics odds comparison and market place.
“The entire Bettingmetrics team has worked extremely hard in order to close the £150k. I am enjoying a great business relationship with RLC Ventures, which helped us a lot.”
According to Bettingmetrics, the second round of this investment will be used for scaling and product development.
Reece Chowdhry, CEO and founder of RLC Ventures, concluded: “Bettingmetrics has built a world-class analytics and odds-checking platform.
“The team have demonstrated brilliant traction by growing their user base by 60 per cent per month and achieving solid growth in recurring revenue. We are excited to back their team in this next stage of growth and product development.”
