First Phase of £2.5m Birmingham Hotel Refurb Complete

French hotel chain, Campanile, has announced that the first stage of its Birmingham hotel refurbishment is now complete, with rooms available to book over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend.

All bedrooms on the third floor have been substantially upgraded and feature entirely new furniture and decor, as part of the £2.5m investment at the city centre hotel.

The rooms have undergone a stylish, modern makeover and are more environmentally friendly, featuring showers and LED lighting.

Work is still ongoing to transform the hotel’s entire facilities, including all 111 rooms and the restaurant, bar and reception areas.

Mark Aldrige, Director of Operations, commented: “We are delighted to announce that the first stage of the hotel’s major renovation is now complete, and look forward to welcome guests to stay in the new rooms over the Bank Holiday weekend.

“We’re breathing renewed life into the property both internally and externally, creating more modern and stylish accommodation that is wholly befitting of our customers’ needs and aspirations.”

The hotel remains fully operational throughout this period, with work due to complete in June. The new room bookings are subject to availability, and available on request.

Campanile Birmingham is one of 17 Campanile hotels in the UK and one of 300 worldwide, following the establishment of the first hotel in France in 1976. Hotels in Manchester and Liverpool are being targeted for future renovations following the completion of the work in Birmingham.

Campanile is part of global hospitality company, the Louvre Hotel Group, which boasts a portfolio of 2,650 hotels in 53 countries. These range from one to five star hotels including Golden Tulip, Royal Tulip and Chinese brand, Metropolo.
