Carnaby Street welcomes Danish fashion brand with debut UK flagship opening
Shaftesbury has announced that Danish fashion brand, Samsøe & Samsøe will open its debut UK flagship store in London’s Carnaby this July.
Set to open at 47 Beak Street this summer, the 1,076 sq ft store will present Samsøe & Samsøe’s Nordic contemporary clothing, drawing upon the brand’s Scandinavian heritage.
Addy Williams, senior retail portfolio manager at Shaftesbury, said: “Samsøe & Samsøe’s unique and recognisable Scandinavian aesthetic is a great addition to the fashion and lifestyle stores on Beak Street and in Carnaby.
“We are delighted that the brand has chosen the iconic destination for its first UK flagship store.
“The new opening, alongside the growing number of international brands in Carnaby, reinforces the distinctive and global retail offering and shopping experience that we aim to provide for visitors and locals alike.”
Hanover Green Retail and Colliers acted on behalf of Shaftesbury.
Peter Sextus, CEO of Samsøe Samsøe, added: “We are greatly committed to gaining a strong presence in the UK, as it is a core market for our further growth.
“Getting the stamp of approval from a global fashion capital and major shopping destination is pivotal for an emerging brand like Samsøe Samsøe.”
