North East law firm reveals major income growth following successful expansion
A regional law firm is celebrating significant growth across several of its departments following a period of expansion.
Emmersons Solicitors, which operates offices in Gosforth and Sunderland, has announced that the turnover within its residential conveyancing department has increased by 14.6 per cent.
Meanwhile, its commercial conveyancing department has experienced a 33 per cent increase in activity.
The overall business has experienced an income increase of 43 per cent over the last two years. Its wills and probate department activity has increased by 22 per cent and staff headcount has grown by 25 per cent.
Jacqueline Emmerson, who founded the firm 21 years ago, said: “This is a very exciting time for Emmersons Solicitors as we celebrate this recent and substantial expansion.
“We’ve welcomed new clients and team members and had an overall outstanding year. Our growth and success have been thanks to our dedicated team which share the directors’ passion for helping others.
“We are looking forward to helping more [local] people and businesses while also continuing to support the causes, organisations and charities which we are devoted to.”
The firm is also an official member of Solicitors for the Elderly, a specialist group of lawyers who have pledged to make a difference to older and vulnerable people.
