‘Heropreneur of the Year’ nominations urged

Leadership performance business Black Isle Group is proudly sponsoring and calling for nominations for ‘Heropreneur of the Year’, the most sought-after distinction at the Heropreneurs Awards 2019.

‘Heropreneur of the Year’ celebrates individuals who have created or are running a successful business, despite having been injured in the armed forces.

It is one of ten categories at the Heropreneur Awards 2019, which is run by Heropreneurs – a military charity that supports the entrepreneurial business aspirations of military veterans and their dependants by providing one-to-one mentoring, practical training, workshops and networking events.

Tim Richardson, CEO - EMEA, at Black Isle Group, is positive: “As an organisation that has benefitted from employing and doing business with ex services personnel over the past 20 years, we are delighted to be able to support the Heropreneurs charity and give back to the wider military community.”

Other categories include ‘Start-up of the Year’, ‘Business Leader of the Year’, ‘Technology Business of the Year’ and ‘The Veterans’ Foundation Award’, which recognises organisations and individuals that have given outstanding help to veterans in need and show entrepreneurial qualities in doing so.

The winners will be revealed at a glittering awards ceremony, which will take place on 7 November 2019 at Plaisterers’ Hall in London. There is no charge to enter the Heropreneur Awards or for shortlisted finalists to attend the ceremony, but the entry deadline is 24 May so there is no time to waste!

Peter Mountford, Heropreneurs Chairman, added: “We are very pleased to include the Black Isle Group as one of our premier sponsors. It will be sponsoring one of our most prestigious and important awards, ‘Heropreneur of the Year’. This award is for a veteran that has overcome significant challenges, physical or mental, as a result of their time in service and is one that embodies the core message of Heropreneurs.”

To enter or make nominations please visit the Heropreneurs website.
