Northern Powerhouse Developments Unveils New 'Bath Butler' Hotel Service

A NORTH Wales hotel is taking pampering to a whole new level by offering its guests the ‘most luxurious bath in the world’ – where all you have to do is relax.

Grade II-listed Caer Rhun Hall, in Conwy, has recently undergone a multi-million pound transformation to become one of the plushest country retreats in the UK.

And part of its new offering is a ‘Bath Butler’ service that turns the humble soak in the tub into an experience to savour.

The pampering session involves a well-trained member of the team turning the taps, providing locally-sourced bath bombs and other products, plus champagne and treats – all in a luxurious bath situated at a bay window in the 19th Century hotel.

Guests will be able to enjoy breathtaking views of the grounds while enjoying the privacy of one of Caer Rhun’s feature rooms.

General Manager Aled Humphreys says the Bath Butler service, which is launching soon, will be a unique way to relax and revitalise after enjoying the breathtaking scenery and attractions surrounding Caer Rhun Hall.

“We believe this is one of the world’s most luxurious bath experiences,” he said. “What better way to completely unwind than having everything done for you and leaving you to sink into a warm tub?

“We have got four feature rooms in Caer Rhun Hall which have got the slipper baths in stunning bay windows overlooking the hotel’s manicured grounds.

“A member of our team will come in and run the water and guests will be able to pick a theme of the bath bombs and other pampering products to go in it. They’ll create the bath you’ve selected and leave you to enjoy complete relaxation in peace.

“The products are provided by local company You’re Gorgeous and there will be a themed menu to choose from – such as relax, revitalise, wake up.

“They are all natural and because provenance is really important to us – we try to work with as many local producers as possible – and it’s great that You’re Gorgeous is just down the road from Caer Rhun Hall.

“As well as the bath, we will provide with a glass of champagne or prosecco. We will have local Aber Falls gin and tonic plus ice cream from Llandudno on offer too.

“Guests can choose how much they want us to do, but for the ultimate luxury we can make sure all they have to do is sink into the bubbles and enjoy.

“It’s all about complete indulgence.”

Nestled in the foothills of the Snowdonia mountains, Caer Rhun Hall is hidden amidst 20 acres of beautiful gardens.

Despite its remote and peaceful location, nestled in the heart of the Conwy Valley, it is ideally placed for guests to access a host of North Wales’ most popular activities.

For thrill-seekers there is Adventure Parc Snowdonia five minutes away, while Zip World and historic castles are within touching distance.

The area also provides excellent walking and mountain biking opportunities.

The main house contains 23 rooms. That number will be boosted by six with the completion of a luxury villa later this month.

The indulgent Bath Butler service is just the latest addition to some of the hotel’s eye-catching features, including dog-friendly stays complete with canine dinner menu and the historic Great Hall that boasts beautiful Tudor-panelling.

Caer Rhun Hall is part of Northern Powerhouse Developments’ North Wales portfolio, which also includes the Llandudno Bay Hotel and The Belmont in the nearby seaside town.

Northern Powerhouse Developments is headquartered in Halifax, West Yorks.

Mr Humphreys added: “Caer Rhun is a superb property set in a stunning location and is proving extremely popular.

“Services such as Bath Butler show how much we pride ourselves on offering our guests the ultimate luxury stay.”
