Caer Rhun Hall Nominated for Prestigious Industry Award
CONWY Valley country hotel Caer Rhun Hall is celebrating after being nominated for a prestigious industry award.
The Grade II-listed rural retreat is in the running for top prize in the ‘UK Country and Coastal Hotel between 21-50 rooms’ category at the third annual BoHo Awards.
The BoHos (Boutique Hotel Guest Experience Awards) were launched in 2017 to emphasise the importance of reviews and feedback, rewarding those that provide the very best in customer experience.
They are unique in that the winners are not decided by judges, but by verified guest feedback from review sites and booking engines worldwide – as well as direct guest feedback via questionnaires.
Caer Rhun Hall General Manager, Aled Humphreys, said: “We are thrilled with the nomination, especially as the shortlist is based on customer reviews.
“The team works hard to ensure the customer experience is an enjoyable one and it’s great to see their hard work recognised within this special property.”
The winners will be revealed at a glittering ceremony at the Kimpton Fitzroy in London on May 22.
Caer Rhun Hall is part of the Whisper Hotels collection, which is owned by Northern Powerhouse Developments, headquartered in Halifax, West Yorks.
It was previously an accountancy school and last year relaunched as a luxury country retreat following a multi-million pound refurbishment.
The hotel’s 32 bedrooms have been stylishly designed with character features, roll-top baths and luxury finishing touches.
The Victorian hotel is surrounded by 18 acres of manicured and wild grounds.
A spokesman for Northern Powerhouse Developments said: “From first acquiring the property, we knew the hotel would be something amazing.
“From the complete renovation through to the guest experience now being delivered, the hotel is a real home from home with a family feel.
“It is exclusive and luxurious but in a totally approachable manner. It is fabulous to hear guests are enjoying it so much!
“We’re really proud of the team at the hotel and their continued delivery of first class service for our guests.”
The hotel is also open to non-residents, serving afternoon tea, as well as morning coffees and drinks.
