Middlesbrough Property Company to Inject New Life Into ‘Eyesore’ Social Club
Skinningrove holiday lets set to transform the local area, bringing jobs and high-standard accommodation for tourists in the area
North East property company HH Properties have recently announced their brand new Skinningrove holiday let development, set to open in Summer 2019. Consisting of eight apartments, the holiday lets will provide a luxurious base for holidaymakers looking to explore the Cleveland Way and surrounding areas of East Cleveland.
HH Properties, alongside Middlesbrough born property developer Peter Hall, has transformed the original plot of land where ‘The Square’ now stands. Once a working man’s club referred to as locals as an ‘eyesore’, the holiday lets are now an attractive and lucrative investment for potential buyers.
Speaking on behalf of HH Properties, Peter Hall explained why they chose to invest in this area.
“We could immediately see the potential of the Skinningrove development and we wanted to take advantage of the fact that the area is becoming increasingly popular with tourists looking to explore the East Cleveland coastline. The properties are expected to bring in significant income for investors and we’re looking forward to further developing our portfolio across the local area”
This part Government funded project has the backing of Redcar & Cleveland Councillor, Barry Hunt.
“It’s great to see that a local businessman has invested not just his money but his faith in a project in our village. The standard of the work I’ve seen at the Skinningrove development is very high and we look forward to seeing the upcoming developments that HH Properties have planned for our area”
The Skinningrove development includes both one and two bedroom apartments, with all properties, finished to a high standard and close to the five-star rated Skinngrove beach. HH Properties are also set to bring additional jobs to the area, with opportunities for local cleaners and tradesman within the development.
HH Properties are working with Middlesbrough estate agency, EazyMove. Director Alexander Burns spoke of his relationship with the local developers.
“We have worked with Peter for a number of years and he has built up a good steady portfolio of residential property that he lets out. Recently his move into developing property has brought properties to markets that people have overlooked. He had Success In Loftus leading to this development in Skinningrove and now Marske.
HH Properties Skinningrove identified the area to be one of the last unspoilt coastal towns with potential for good growth, particularly in the holiday let market with the block of flats presenting lucrative returns for those looking to let them to holidaymakers. The land formerly accommodated a social club that was run down and vacant. The development not only presents a brilliant opportunity for locals looking for good quality family houses but has also given the area a new lease of life turning an otherwise derelict parcel of land into well appointed, well-constructed development for locals and none locals looking to explore and enjoy this area of East Cleveland. In addition, Peter employed local tradespersons providing them with work in the local area rather than them having to travel or move away for periods of time to find work.“
