BeaconHouse Events celebrates a milestone anniversary

The thriving North East Events Agency is celebrating five years in business this year.

It’s an exciting year of substantial growth for the company, with 10 new client wins so far this year.

Founded in 2014 by directors Sarah Thackray and Catherine Coulter. The first day of business happened to coincide with Psy’s “Gangnam Style” becoming the first video to reach two billion views on YouTube, and they have managed to keep it out of event playlists for five years!

In the five years since launch, BeaconHouse has cemented its position as the leader in strategic event management, delivering over 100 events a year for customers throughout the North East and across the UK.

Moving to Hoults Yard in 2017 to accommodate the now seven strong team, the company, which prides itself on a clear client focus, is a full-service agency, specialising in event logistics, financial management, speaker management, onsite delivery, feasibility and contingency planning and membership management.

BeaconHouse has attracted clients in sectors such as tech, finance, education, architecture, healthcare, environment, community and creative arts. These include top names such as Dynamo North East, AkzoNobel, Dentsu Aegis, Andrew & Pete, The Planet Mark, European Thyroid Association, True Potential, DigitalAgenda, Great Run Company and The Department for Culture, Media and Sport.

Director Catherine Coulter has accredited their success to their focus on creativity and customer service. She said “We are so proud to hit this milestone. Our delivery of bespoke solutions has meant we’ve been able to establish relationships with leading organisations in the North East and beyond. BeaconHouse Events started as a small company in Newcastle upon Tyne but winning the contract to deliver the Business Summit for Great Exhibition of the North in a hugely competitive national tender has pricked up ears across the sector – the best is yet to come.”
