Southampton Van Store launched as part of Hendy expansion
Hendy has expanded its commercial vehicle operations in the south with the opening of the Southampton Van Store.
The company has opened the Van Store in Chandler’s Ford to offer buyers a wide range of commercial vehicles from a large selection of manufacturers.
It has 100 vans on site at any one time and access to the Hendy Group stock of more than 200 vehicles.
Chief operating officer Simon Bottomley said he was delighted to open the dedicated facility which becomes the group’s latest stand-alone commercial vehicle operation.
“Vans are a hugely important part of our business and we are pleased to be able to dedicate this whole facility to commercial vehicle sales,” said Simon.
“Our customers range from sole traders through to large companies in the area and this facility enables us to meet their varied requirements from small vans to large tipper trucks,” added Simon.
As with other car and van stores in the group, the concept is based on offering the best choice of vehicles at the most competitive prices without compromising on the customer experience.
