Global retail installation specialist 100% Group launches US base
International retail display installation company, 100% Group, has launched its North American HQ in Los Angeles in response to demand for a ‘European approach’ to retail installations in the US and Canada.
With almost ten years’ experience activating brands and in-store campaigns across the world, 100% Group identified a gap in the market to bring the sophistication of European retail installation and maintenance projects to the North American retail landscape.
The company launched its Los Angeles HQ last year to offer on-the-ground support to its US customers; covering surveys and audits, installation, maintenance and updates, as well as its new redeploy offering, which repurposes redundant retail fixtures at end-of-life.
Turning over £1million in its first year, 100%’s LA base is managed by head of operations, Nicole Hall, and head of client services, Cat Compton. The team of two has been deployed to deliver exceptional customer service and bespoke managed projects for leading global consumer brands on the continent, including Dyson, Fisher & Paykel and Colart.
In addition to its Los Angeles office, 100% operates a main storage facility and operational hub in Minneapolis and distributes from six additional regional centres in the US to enable fast response to projects while minimising its carbon footprint. The company hosts its Canadian storage hub in Toronto and has an additional distribution centre in Vancouver.
Dan Williams, Managing Director at 100% Group says: “From my years of experience in this industry the value of trusted people who have a detailed knowledge the local retail environment has become very clear.”
Commenting on the North American retail landscape he adds: “The vast geographies of the USA present significant challenges to uniform delivery of quality installations. This is made more challenging by the diverse range of independent retailers who stock products from major consumer brands and differs to a European approach favouring department stores. Our US launch has been planned meticulously so we’re able to meet this model and address the demand for seamless retail installation and client management in US and Canada regions.”
