Specialist PR firm bolsters portfolio with eight new appointments
Yorkshire-based communications firm, Scriba PR, is building on a year of significant growth with eight new client wins – contributing to an additional 123 hours of project work each month.
Building on its biggest year to-date – both in terms of increasing client and employee numbers – the technical B2B agency now manages the retained contracts for no less than 40 firms. The nine-strong team is already looking on course to better the 24 new project wins secured in 2018 alone too.
In the wake of a hat-trick of international triumphs from global shredder manufacturer client, UNTHA, the Huddersfield-headquartered organisation has also expanded its remit with another long-term partner – ESPHR. Scriba will now lead all internal and external communications for the employment law alternative business structure (ABS) firm.
Peter Byrne, director of ESPHR, said: “We wanted an agency that shared the same values as us, and Scriba PR ticks those boxes in spades. They’re a fantastic, niche boutique with a hard-working team that’s approachable, and ever-present. They understand our services entirely and we really do consider them as an extension of our organisation, and not a separate entity.
“We have huge plans to ramp up our PR and marketing activity, and the work Scriba PR has done so far to accommodate this has already been impressive.”
Another global client – this time looking to shake up the status quo of the construction industry – is Paris-based general contractor Agilité, who has outsourced their social media management needs.
Following its acquisition by Force24 – a long-term client of Scriba PR – leading social selling platform, SoAmpli, has also enrolled the award-winning agency to manage all communications and social media activity, to further empower the brand.
Katie Mallinson, Scriba PR founder and managing director, said: “It’s been quite the year for us. We’ve grown from a team of four to nine incredibly passionate communicators, and none of that would have been possible without a combination of our loyal, long-term clients, and the new faces we keep adding to our roster.
“I hope that we are now becoming synonymous with telling the story of some of Europe’s – self-confessed – best-kept niche, B2B firms as we look to continue to build our team and reputation over the next 12 months.”
Ahead of a new division launch, financial and professional services consultancy, City and Capital Group has brought in Scriba PR to oversee profile-building communications for their new, acquisitions, function. While international tech and translation firm, Jublo, has enlisted the copywriters for a pair of website projects and social media audit.
Other significant appointments come from tech resourcing firm Cranford Group, Leeds’ leading IT support provider Systemwork, and – with offices in Leeds, Wakefield and Wigan – pure technology group.
