Omnia Property Group strengthens links with City Taxis

SHEFFIELD property management specialist Omnia Property Group is strengthening its links with City Taxis.

As well as advertising on the rear of City Taxi receipts, Omnia is also offering a property management discount to City Taxi employees.

And the company is also supporting the pioneering City Taxis Safe Taxi scheme.

The City Taxis Safe Taxi Scheme allows students to get home safely, when they’ve ran out of cash and have no debit or credit card available.

The student must request to use the Safe Taxi Scheme when making their taxi booking so both the company’s Call Centre and the driver are aware that payment for the journey will be made at a later date.

The driver takes the student’s University card and hands it to the City Taxis HQ within 24 hours of the journey, where a member of the Marketing team then returns it to the University, along with the Safe Taxi form, which a member of the Call Centre completes.

The student can then collect their student card and make payment for the journey.

“As so much of our business is focused on the student market, both in Sheffield and nationwide, we are very keen keen to support any initiative that keeps young people safe at all times of the day,” said Omnia Student Lettings Manager Mitch Race.

“We know that the Safe Taxi scheme works and that City Taxis have created something that Sheffield should be proud of.

“We are delighted to able to support the scheme and are also pleased to be strengthening our ties with City Taxis in other ways.”
