Avengers Assemble! D&D Transport are haulage superheroes

A Marvel-inspired Renault truck has been turning heads and amazing superhero fans, in celebration of D&D Transport’s 25th anniversary. The truck is the latest investment from the haulage company in Nottinghamshire as part of its continued growth. With a number of its 25 employees already keen Marvel fans, the family run business wanted its latest truck purchase to not only celebrate its recent anniversary but to stand out and pay tribute to the popular superhero franchise in a unique way. Hawk-eyed superhero fans will recognise some of Marvel’s favourite characters fighting crime across the front of the truck, including the Ultimate Spiderman, Captain America, the Incredible Hulk and of course, the amazing Avengers. Dave Palmer, Managing Director at D&D Transport said: “Our new truck has certainly got heads turning. We wanted a truck which not only celebrated our anniversary but one that was unique and different, grabbed attention and recognised something that the whole team enjoys.” To create such a detailed and extravagant design, D&D Transport looked to East Midlands Renault Trucks dealer, RH Commercial Vehicles (RHCV). The two teams have been working closely together for more than eight years, with RHCV providing the facilities and vehicles required for D&D Transport to both expand and accommodate future growth. The RHCV team also gave the new truck a first-class service, upgrading the truck with additional commodities and gadgets, including a four-way camera, a spotlight and microwave, ensuring the vehicle was a luxurious experience for the driver. Dave added: “The purchase follows an excellent period of growth at D&D Transport and RHCV has been a significant part of that. In the past couple of years, we have expanded our fleet and moved from a half acre site to a two-and-a-half-acre site to enable expansion. This truck is the latest investment, which will ensure we are delivering an excellent haulage service to all our customers. “We are expecting even more growth over the next few months and we are already planning for the upcoming boom at Christmas, returning to RHCV for their truck and rentals solutions when we need them.” Paul Pearson, Commercial Director at RHCV said: “Working with D&D Transport on an exciting project and design was an honour for us. Over the past eight years, we have developed a strong relationship with Dave and his team and we were delighted that we could deliver a such an amazing truck to celebrate D&D Transport’s 25th anniversary.” RHCV is an authorised distributor for Renault Trucks and provides new and used sales, service and parts for the full Renault Trucks range as well as all-makes parts and servicing for commercial vehicles. The business also provides a range of rental/lease options through sister company RH Rentals.
