Senior management surveyor joins Carter Towler
Leeds-based Carter Towler has appointed senior property management surveyor James Skirrow. A highly experienced and well regarded property management professional, James previously held senior positions with WSB Property Consultants, CBRE and Savills.
Commenting on the appointment Carter Towler director Tim Rhodes said: “We are delighted that James has joined us, having him on our team really is a bit of a coup! He has a great deal of very valuable expertise and is already proving to be fantastic addition to our team.
“James’ appointment coincides with a significant period of growth in our business. We have just been awarded a contract to manage an additional 400 properties nationwide for a long-standing client. This deal brings the total number of properties being looked after by Carter Towler to in excess of 3,500 and will increase our turnover by 15%. We have the biggest property management team in the region and currently collect over £40m worth of rent for our clients.”
James Skirrow added: “Carter Towler has established a fantastic reputation for its property management services and I am very much looking forward to being part of that. Having developed an impressive range of clients across the country and across a broad range of sectors, I am excited to be instrumental in the next stage of development.”
Carter Towler’s property management team acts for clients with property portfolios ranging from single or multiple city centre retail units, offices and industrial estates through to multi-million pound national portfolios. Its services include rent and service charge collection, financial compliance, maintenance and refurbishment, asset management and protection.
