Newcastle-based marine accessories supplier expands offering with new brand
North East-based maritime company Solarglide has expanded its company with the launch of its new sister brand Pearl Pacific.
On July 19, the expanding export firm will be officially launching the new website. Pearl Pacific is the brand offering of Solarglide Ltd, alongside its bespoke venetian, pleated and faux leather blinds.
Pearl Pacific is aimed specifically at the international yacht market.
Founder and managing director, Paul Pringle said: “We are excited to launch Pearl Pacific to the international sail and motor yacht market.
“The demand we have seen for high quality window treatments has soared since we started this project two years ago and now, we’re in a position to offer these products to yacht owners, outfitters and designers throughout the international maritime market.”
Pearl Pacific specialises in bespoke venetian and pleated blinds for yachts, provided in various materials and finishes such as aluminium, wood and faux Italian leather.
Sales director and co-owner, Duncan Gaskin added: “We haven’t even scratched the surface within the yacht market, we’ve so many fantastic products ready to hit UK and international waters, we’re also in final stages of producing new lines.
“It’s exciting to imagine what the future holds for this luxury brand.”
Solarglide Ltd launched in 2008, a private company founded by two friends who have since established a company that has become a successful manufacturer and exporter of window covering treatments to the international marine industry.
