Award Winning Beauty Therapist Celebrates Becoming a Best-selling Author - After Embracing her Story to Empower Others
An award-winning Beauty Therapist from Bedfordshire celebrates becoming a bestselling author at a star-studded charity book launch.
Female entrepreneur Kerry Beavis, 37, is also a mentor to solo-therapists across the UK and is passionate about empowering them to have successful therapy businesses.
In her chapter, Kerry shares her own story and life lessons she has learnt along the way, in the hope of inspiring other women to step into their power.
Kerry is passionate about helping others (and herself) be kinder to themselves and put in place methods to deal with whatever they may be facing. When she recognises the old feelings of self-doubt returning, when overwhelm starts to hit, she has a go-to kit of strategies she uses to help her resurface and it is these life lessons Kerry shares in her chapter.
‘When She Rises’ went straight in at Number 1 in the Amazon book charts and is supported by ITV’s Real Housewives of Cheshire, Rachel Lugo and Leanne Brown, all proceeds and royalties from the book are going to the global charity One Woman At A Time, dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls in parts of Kenya, India and the UK who are severely disadvantaged by social or economic circumstances.
Speaking to the 12 authors of the collaboration, Rachel Lugo said: “I am in awe of these women and can’t get enough of their stories. I can’t wait to finish reading the book and I know I will have more questions for them.” When She Rises Volume One has already become a bestseller on Amazon since being released earlier this month and while discussing plans for Volume Two Rachel declared she “would love to be a part of it.”
As well as in the book Kelly shares her insights with her clients via her Facebook community - The Revive Company.
Spearheaded by Tiffany Skirrow, a business mentor and founder of When She Rises Coaching, passionate about helping women turn their lives around and become their most successful selves, ‘When She Rises’ exists to offer hope for others who are having a difficult time as well as being a celebration of the women featured and all they have overcome.
The book has been published by the award winning team at Authors & Co, who work to showcase and celebrate empowering stories of women. Founder Abigail Horne said: “At Authors & Co we work with entrepreneurs who want to make an impact through leaving their legacy and the audience we serve are those with inquiring minds, keen to drink in information, and learn from others’ experiences. Our authors always lead their readers to reflect on their own lives and if aligned, make use of the teachings to move forward themselves”.
