Pfleiderer relocates UK office into Greenway House
One of Europe’s leading manufacturers of engineered wood based and surface finished products has moved into Orbit Development’s Greenway House on Tytherington Business Village.
Pfleiderer UK Limited, part of The Pfleiderer Group, were previously based in Oakfield House on the Tytherington site and have moved to 4,036 sq ft of space, nearly doubling their size, to facilitate their expansion plans.
Greenway House will provide office space for the team of 10 who head up the sales and marketing operation, with manufacturing taking place in Germany and Poland.
Supplying the most comprehensive and unrivalled range of products, decors and surfaces in their industry, Pfleiderer’s relocation allows for a new showroom for staff training and customer events, and an inhouse bulk store for marketing materials.
Relying on 3 key values of quality, service and availability, Pfleiderer relocated from London in 2004 with a turnover of €28million and are now on track to hit a turnover of €72 million in 2019. We are closer to the main customer markets here than in London.
Jason Taylor, Managing Director of Pfleiderer, commented:
The UK market are unable to produce enough materials of our quality to supply demand, so there is always a need for imported quality products.“
Jason talked positively of support from the Orbit Development’s team.
“Orbit have been our landlords for the past 15 years and we find them very easy to deal with; there is an on-site manager for any day-to-day issues, and other personnel at Orbit are professional, approachable, helpful and accommodating.” He adds:
“The business park fits our needs perfectly thanks to the facilities; it’s semi-rural location, an on-site hotel, and well-maintained properties set amongst fantastic landscaping.”
Leasing Surveyor for Orbit Developments Benn Dickinson said: “We are delighted to welcome Pfleiderer to their new property and we wish the team the very best of luck for the future and their expansion plans.”
