British luxury footwear brand stepping into Covent Garden this autumn
Russell and Bromley is launching a 3,461 sq ft store at 107 Long Acre in Covent Garden this autumn.
The luxury British footwear and handbag brand’s new relocation is part of the brand’s UK development plans. The store is set to include a 1,630 sq ft lower ground floor and a 1,841 sq ft ground floor.
Simon Taylor, property director of The Mercers’ Company, who revealed the launch, said: “Russell and Bromley is a well-established and luxury brand and we are pleased to be able to provide them with this prime retail space set in the heart of Covent Garden.
“They join a line-up of vibrant new retailers on Long Acre, all benefitting from the high footfall we welcome year-on-year.”
This announcement follows on from the recent launch of the new Boots concept store, adjacent to Russell and Bromley.
JLL and Hanover Green acted on behalf of The Mercers’ Company. Styles and Whitlock represented Russell and Bromley.
Andrew Bromley, owner of Russell and Bromley, added: “Our new store had to be in a prominent location within Covent Garden and this corner unit, directly opposite the tube station, was an opportunity we had to secure.
“The plan is to launch to the public this autumn and this larger space will provide a great backdrop for our new seasons’ collections.”
