Double hire for KAM Project Consultants
KAM Project Consultants has expanded its Milton Keynes office with new hires across its marketing and cost management teams.
Brittany Shaw has been appointed as marketing and business development administrator and Joseph Caranci as graduate cost manager.
With a degree in sports marketing and PR, and over seven years’ experience in online and offline marketing, Brittany brings skill and enthusiasm to the KAM team having previously worked for companies including Chaneco, Sports Leaders UK and Silverstone Circuit.
She will be supporting the overall growth of the company with website maintenance, social media assistance and the creation of project documents.
Having recently graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a degree in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Construction Management, Joseph joins the firm following his previous role at Engie Regeneration which involved the refurbishment of internal and external elements of council housing in Nottingham.
Responsibilities in his new role will include valuations, payment certificates, cashflows, monthly reports, comp checks and measuring quantities alongside cost plans.
Brittany said: “KAM is forward-thinking with client care at the heart of its services and I believe this is a great team ethos. The team are such a passionate group of people and I’m really looking forward to working with them for the development of the business and hope to utilise my marketing skills to assist the growth of the company.”
Joseph said: “I am thrilled to have the opportunity to be part of the KAM team and I aim to bring a competent skill set to the table having recently graduated from Nottingham Trent University, with experience in cost planning, record keeping and the measurement of architect drawings.”
On the expansion of the Milton Keynes team, director Kevin Sims said: “With so many new and exciting projects on the horizon, we’ve been focusing on a recruitment drive to meet the demands of our growing business.
“With Brittany’s years of expertise, she is ideally positioned to drive business development and provide support in all areas of marketing. Having recently graduated from university with hands on industry experience, we welcome Joseph’s fresh ideas and look forward to new, enthusiastic talent joining our team.”
