SK Clicks with Award Nomination

A Teesside business woman has been shortlisted for a national award for her work as a young entrepreneur after investing £100k in a business based in the UK. Further investment has also been made into a sister company in Aruba.

Kirsty Calvert, operations director and co-owner of SK Click Events, has been named in the shortlisted finals for the FL National Awards and Summit, which celebrates women in business across the UK.

Kirsty is up against stiff competition in the Young Entrepreneur category for the Yorkshire, Scotland and North east region, but she is looking forward to using the event and nomination to showcase the products and offerings from SK Click Events.

Based in Middlesbrough, SK Click Events, specialises in unique photo experiences for corporate and private events and is perfectly positioned to become one of the UK’s premier events specialists.

Boasting nine unique and high end mirror booth products SK Click is already racking up clients from both the private and the corporate sector, with events of all sizes and clients from a variety of industries being supported by SK Click Events cutting-edge photo booths.

Kirsty, who was previously in the Navy, said:

“It is really rewarding to be nominated and shortlisted for these awards. Previous years have showcased very successful business women who we can all learn a lot from, so be in with a chance of recognition this year is huge for me.

“We have worked hard launching the business and are now working with a number of large venues across the region and further afield, as well as taking in private and corporate bookings.

“Our technology and the added bonuses of GDPR compliant data collection and social media springboarding is really appealing to those who are serious about marketing during and after their event.”

Kirsty has been shortlisted after highlighting the unique products, including the SK 360 and the SK Glam Cam which has proved a huge hit since its arrival in the UK. Perfect for weddings, parties and large scale events the products all mix perfectly with the SK Mosaic which was successfully demonstrated at the NE Expo earlier this year.
