Hallidays promote team members!

Hallidays, Stockport announce the promotion to director of two of their Client Managers, Paul Richards and Tracey Hemingway. Paul and Tracey join a team of 8 directors as part of Hallidays succession planning. 6 of their director team were trained within Hallidays.

Tracey joined Hallidays in 2008 and has been instrumental in determining their strategy for the development of their growing academy sector. She works closely with their not for profit sector and more commercial clients bringing her passion to support her clients to achieve their goals. Tracey’s friendly and direct approach coupled with her strategic development, goal setting and cash flow modelling and forecasting skills puts her in a great position to guide and lead her team.

“I am very proud of my achievements at Hallidays and delighted to be working alongside a great team of people who share my passion for delivering support and growth to all our clients. I feel honoured to be joining the board and am very excited for the future” Tracey Hemingway, Director.

Paul joined Hallidays in 2002 as trainee and has grown with Hallidays. With a keen eye for detail, Paul has extensive knowledge of working with SME’s and owner managed businesses and is excellent at spotting opportunities that will benefit an organisation. He works closely with business owners from the Solicitor sector to help grow their professional and personal wealth. He is passionate about helping businesses to grow using Hallidays Business One Page Plan which ensures they focus on what drives their business. He builds great relationship with clients and team members.

“To be made a director of Hallidays is a huge honour and one I’ve been working towards for a long time. The firm I joined as an 18-year-old has changed so much over my time here – it is unrecognisable and all the better for it. I intend to continue to help move the firm, our team and our clients forward and support them to grow.” Paul Richards, Director.

“Hallidays has always focussed on its team. The quality of internal training in both traditional areas such as tax and accountancy and also business advisory is excellent. Consequently, we have always had high quality managers waiting to step up to the position of Director as the older Directors reduce workloads approaching retirement. I am therefore delighted to welcome Tracey and Paul. I am certain they will provide a massive positive contribution to the board in the years to come in the same way as they have been doing for the firm for many precious years.” Nigel Bennett, Managing Director.

Hallidays, often quoted as being ahead of their peers, gave up time sheets over 15 years ago and more recently in a bold move to enable team members to blend work with home commitments, they made their ‘flexi’ scheme even more flexible. They have removed their core hours policy giving greater flexibility over the completion of contracted hours. Hallidays new ‘work life blend’ enables team members to book time as lieu days or they can elect to use this time by working shorter days, flexing their day to fit in with their lifestyle starting later and finishing later, taking extended lunch breaks or using the time to book personal appointments.

Team members can arrive from a run at a time to suit them or cycle into work knowing that shower facilities are available. Parents don’t have to worry about how they can drop their children at school. All this helps with reducing stress and makes for a much happier work place which in turn leads to much happier clients.

Hallidays team happiness scores recently hit the 90’s which they see as an indication that everything they are doing is appreciated.
