New community facilities coming to Yelland
Residents in Yelland are to benefit from new community facilities - thanks to investment from David Wilson Homes.
The five star housebuilder is creating a new community at its Tarka Ridge development within the popular North Devon Village. And stylish homes are just the start of a whole host of extra facilities coming to the area.
“We have worked closely with North Devon District Council to identify how we can contribute to the wider community here in Yelland,” said sales director, Nicki Reid. “As part of our commitment to help further enhance local amenities, we are providing a significant investment of £543,136 towards education in the area.
“We are also providing more than £181,000 towards improving highways outside of the development, as well as £40,000 towards healthcare and £47,400 towards Open Space - which includes a special link to the Tarka Trail. Young people living at Tarka Ridge will enjoy an on-site equipped play area too.
“With such a popular location, it’s not surprising plans for our new development are already prompting a great deal of interest. Add to that the total investment of around £812,000 in new facilities for residents in Yelland - and we are extremely proud of the work our team is involved in here.”
Tarka Ridge is a collection of three, four and five bedroom homes on the banks of the River Taw in Yelland. The town of Barnstaple is only a short drive away, with a range of local shops, cafes and restaurants. Tarka Ridge is a great location for a wide range of buyers - giving them the opportunity to enjoy all that North Devon has to offer.
