'Luxury' family homes on private Chester le Street estate now on market
A collection of bespoke homes within Chester le Street’s Lambton Estate are now available for sale.
Lambton Estate has always been private - despite a short public period in the 1970s. Earlier this year, it was revealed the Lambton family are offering the chance to share the estate’s environment with a wider audience who will eventually move into the area.
The development will comprise 106 three, four and five-bedroom homes along with one, two and three-bedroom apartments. These have been designed in keeping with the longstanding heritage of the estate by architect Ben Pentreath.
Andrew Somerville, sales director at Miller Homes North East, said: “Without a doubt, Lambton Park will be an incredibly special place to call home, from the exclusivity of the estate, its fascinating heritage and prime location, to the bespoke housetypes designed specifically for the estate.”
The family homes are said to offer living areas, ensuite bathrooms, a ground floor study, double garage and feature bay windows.
Homeowners will have access to 15km of seasonal walks, as well as retail and community space as funding from this development of new homes is supporting conservation works across Lambton Park.
This also includes the restoration of Lambton Castle and its stables, plus Lamb Bridge.
