Housebuilder raises some green at charity golf day!
Barratt Developments Yorkshire West has continued its dedication to giving back to those in need by raising £21,000 at its charity golf day.
Staff from the local housebuilder clubbed together to support two charities at the annual event, which took place earlier this month. One of the charities receiving support is the National Multiple Sclerosis Society which works to support those suffering from MS whilst also searching for a cure. The other is Candlelighters, Barratt Developments Charity of the Year, which works to aid children with cancer and their families. As well as the donation from the golf day, Barratt Homes Yorkshire West will also be sponsoring the Volunteer Award at the annual Candleighters award ceremony which recognises volunteers that go above and beyond to support the charity ever year.
David Coe, Land Director at Barratt Developments Yorkshire West, commented: “This years charity golf day has once again proved hugely successful and raised significant funds for the Candlelighters and National Multiple Sclerosis Charity. Thanks again to all our supply chain for purchasing fourballs and to those who very kindly provided auction items. It was fantastic to see so many members of the team out to support both charities, and we look forward to seeing how the money raised will help both causes and to raising more money in the future.”
