TotalKare to showcase new products at Coach & Bus UK

The latest in heavy-duty vehicle lifting solutions will be on display in October (2nd-3rd), when TotalKare makes one of its largest ever appearances at Coach & Bus UK.

The firm’s market-leading T8DC cable-free mobile column lifts will form the centrepiece of its stand (F12) at the NEC in Birmingham by lifting a 17-seater Ford Transit T460 minibus generously provided by David Fishwick.

They will be joined by TotalKare’s new mobile brake tester, which will be demonstrated live along with, for the first time, a new headlight tester that is in significant demand from the coach and bus sector.

Launched earlier this year, the brake tester is technically advanced and amongst the strongest and most reliable brake testing systems currently available.

Able to test up to 20,000kg per axle, it is perfect for a wide range of vehicles from minibuses to heavy duty buses and coaches.

The mobile brake tester, which is hot galvanised to improve durability, also features a comprehensive load simulation system and app technology so that data and subsequent analysis can be completed on a smart phone or tablet.

“TotalKare enjoys an excellent reputation in the UK coach and bus marketplace - it is one of our fastest growing sectors and we’ve already secured significant orders for our mobile and in-ground brake testers from clients in this field who are keen to take advantage of our attractive lease hire packages that include full maintenance,” explained David Hall, Managing Director of TotalKare.

“Our customers like that we have broadened our portfolio to include non-lifting products and appreciate how we give the same high quality of technical expertise and customer service that is synonymous with our brand.”

He continued: “Coach & Bus UK is a great platform to update operators on new technology that can make their lives easier, improve performance and, in our case, help them safely lift and test their vehicles.”

Halesowen-based TotalKare is the UK’s number one supplier for heavy-duty vehicle lifting solutions and aftersales care, providing mobile column lifts, fixed four and two-post lifts, brake testers, training solutions and a comprehensive suite of ancillary products.

Coach & Bus UK is an important show for the company as its acts as the ultimate domestic showcase for the coach, bus and mini-vehicle industry.

Over 180 of the industry’s leading suppliers will display over 70 of the latest vehicles and an abundance of technology and service innovations for the UK market.

In addition to the T8DC cable-free mobile column lifts and the mobile brake tester, TotalKare will be giving many people in the sector a first-hand insight into its new G8AC wash bay column lift.

Available in four, six and eight column configurations, the G8AC has been specially designed to ensure many years of trouble-free use.

David continued: “We have applied our experience and knowledge to the details of the design, such as a galvanised structure and sealed bearings, to give long-term protection from water so that the lifts are ideal for outside use. They also have adjustable forks to ensure maximum flexibility in the range of vehicles that can be lifted.

“This is something many of our bus and coach customers have asked us for in recent years and we’re excited to bring a wash bay-suitable mobile column lift solution to market.”
