Mizuno Designates Dept as its Creative Agency
Mizuno, a leading, Japanese sporting goods brand since 1906, will collaborate with Dept to further develop their creative, digital and e-commerce strategy. Mizuno is eager to grow and strengthen its brand presence globally and found the digital agency to be the ideal partner to achieve this.
Satoshi Miyamoto, head of Marketing at Mizuno Global is enthusiastic about having Dept on board: “We’re very excited to work with an experienced international marketing agency for driving our global business growth. We look forward to having their outstanding creative, technology and data skills.”
Dept’s aim is to strengthen the Mizuno brand as a whole. The agency will do so by focusing on creating integrated campaigns and help Mizuno with its e-commerce strategy in EMEA. Dept will now be responsible for seasonal campaigns, photo and video production, social and digital e-commerce strategy. These campaigns will be suited for multichannel purposes, both online and offline in this modern retail landscape.
João Inácio, Associate Creative Director at Dept, says: “partnering up with a global sports brand such as Mizuno is a unique opportunity for Dept to put all of its expertise to work by consolidating the brand and creating work that sets us apart in the digital space.”
For over one hundred years, Mizuno has been passionate about sports and strives to provide its customers with inspiration to push forward in their fitness journey. Dept is a leading marketing agency, a one-stop-shop for everything digital, with a presence in both Europe and North America. By combining forces, the brands hope to unify customers behind the brand.
