EEUK Fellowship Recognises International Reach of Liverpool Charity, The Women’s Organisation

Enterprise Educators UK (EEUK) have awarded The Women’s Organisation’s partner, Jing Zhang, with their first ever international Fellowship.

This year saw EEUK award their first international fellowship to Jing Zhang (FEEUK) from Beijing Weishengchang International (BWI) for working with Enterprise Evolution, consultancy arm of Liverpool-based charity, The Women’s Organisation.

Jing was awarded a fellowship alongside her colleague Alison Price, Principal Consultant & Co-Founder of Enterprise Evolution, last night (05/09/2019) at EEUK’s annual conference Gala Dinner this year held in Oxford.

Following its inaugural ceremony last year, the national fellowship is designed to recognise the personal professional achievements of the individuals at the centre of enterprise education and rewards their pioneering work.

Based on the IOEE National Occupational Standard for Enterprise & Entrepreneurship educators, this pioneering award offers the only sector-wide recognition that is equally available to all those working as enterprise educators, including academics, practitioners and influencers.

To become a Fellow of EEUK, individuals are required to demonstrate their professional practice through a written portfolio comprising of four written pieces reflecting on their professional practice.

Jing Zhang and Alison Price now join their Enterprise Evolution colleague, Lisa McMullan, in receiving this prestigious accolade for their consultancy services delivered throughout the U.K and internationally in China.

Jing said: “I am excited to get the fellowship of EEUK, which recognises my professional achievement in enterprise education against an international benchmark; achieving this Fellowship is so important for me“.

EEUK Chair (2019-20) Gareth Trainer (University of Newcastle) said Jing’s submission demonstrated that she is a very competent and accomplished influencer, working as a national Champion of Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Education across China.
