Newcastle agency secures contract in series of wins with Northumberland engineers

Local full-service marketing and PR agency Scarab4 has won a contract to provide marketing services to Blyth-based A Squared Engineering.

Located next to Newcastle Airport, the contract win is the second in just weeks for the full-service agency who recently announced it had won the PR contract with Hull-based ENGIE Fabricom.

The agency has now been commissioned by A Squared Engineering to manage all digital activity on behalf of the engineering consultancy and which will involve promoting the company, its projects and its services to prospects and clients across the UK.

Founder and MD of Scarab4, Jane Gatiss, said: “We are thrilled with this second contract win in only a matter of weeks.

“We are delighted to have landed A Squared Engineering as a client and look forward to delivering our services for a company that really is making a difference in Structural Engineering, Naval Architecture and risk management services across the oil, gas and offshore wind sectors.

“Quite a new company, A Squared Engineering is already fast gaining a reputation across the oil, gas and offshore wind sectors for providing some of the very best engineering consultancy services in the industry and we are very proud to be part of the team to promote this.

“This is another contract win which demonstrates our marketing expertise in the energy sector and which demonstrate our ability to deliver across this sector. We’re very proud of the reputation we’ve carved in this industry, across the region and indeed throughout the UK and look forward to delivering the quality work for A Squared Engineering that we deliver for all our clients.”

Scarab4 was formed in 2012 and has carved a reputation for delivering marketing and PR services to the energy sector with several team members having worked across the globe delivering for energy providers and their supply chains.

Alongside this specialist division, the company has a strong team of chartered marketeers and PR specialists skilled in delivering services across the technical, manufacturing, economic regeneration, charity and direct to consumer markets.

A Squared Engineering is headquartered in Blyth and has a second office in Aberdeen. The company specialises in offshore engineering consultancy, providing a complete range of structural engineering, naval architecture and risk management services to global clients.

Director of A Squared Engineering, Andy Robson, concluded: “We were very impressed by Scarab4, their knowledge of the industries we work in, their connections and - most importantly - their ability to hit the ground running.

“When an agency gives you that level of confidence and you know it’s just going to deliver without draining on your resources, then it’s a no brainer. We knew Scarab4 could gather the information needed to craft interesting and accurate digital content and would work effectively with our partners and suppliers to do this.

“Able to work autonomously and as part of our team we’re very much looking forward to working with Scarab4 and building the reputation and brand of A Squared Engineering.”
