Dealerships Don Denim for Charity
Friday 20 September saw many Swansway Motor Group teams dressed in denim as they supported Jeans for Genes day.
Genetic Disorders UK is a charity which aims to improve the lives of individuals and families affected by genetic disorders.
It’s estimated that 1 in 25 children is affected by a genetic disorder. That’s 30,000 babies and children newly diagnosed each year, meaning more than half a million children and adults are living with a genetic disorder.
Jeans for Genes day is the charity’s big fund-raising event and Swansway sites including the Volkswagen Van Centre in Preston, Blackburn Audi and Preston Audi all donned denim for a day!
Les Peters, Head of Business at Preston Audi explained, “Genetic Disorders UK is not a massive charity, but it does amazing work supporting children and their families when they receive genetic disorder diagnoses, so, we decided to rock our jeans and help support this wonderful charity”.
