Senior appointment at Adderstone Group
Newcastle-based property company, Adderstone Group has appointed Andy Kahn to head up the development and management of its expanding estate.
Andy joins Adderstone in November 2019 from the Port of Tyne, where he has been Head of Estates for the past six years, responsible for leading the strategic direction of the Port’s vast estates operation.
In his new role, Andy will initially take overall responsibility for the development and management of Adderstone Group’s growing commercial property portfolio, which currently comprises 1.6 million square foot and over 100 business tenants.
A Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), Andy has amassed almost 20 years of experience in senior property positions throughout the North East including six years with the Port and 10 years at Storeys:ssp (now Lambert Smith Hampton).
Adderstone Group CEO, Ian Baggett said: “Andy’s track record speaks for itself and we just know he will fit well into our positive culture.”
Andy said, “Adderstone’s growth is a real North East success story. I have known Ian and the team for a number of years now and I’m looking forward to getting involved and helping build on what they have already achieved.”
