Government event to help North East businesses prepare for Brexit
North East businesses are being urged to sign up for one of the Government’s free Brexit Business Readiness events which are taking place at venues across the UK, including here in the North East.
As the Government continues its preparations for leaving the EU on 31 October, the Get Ready for Brexit roadshow arrives in Newcastle on Wednesday 9 October.
Taking place at the Holiday Inn Newcastle-Jesmond, the event will combine a keynote address, interactive support, advice stands and in-depth sessions led by subject matter experts. It will provide companies with specific business-focused advice and help, as well as the chance to meet government advisers.
The full impact of Brexit on the business community may still be unclear, but it’s vital that we take action wherever we can in order to make sure that our business community is as prepared as possible for the changes to come – especially as we get closer to the 31 October deadline for Brexit.
This free event is an opportunity to keep up to date with the very latest advice from central Government and I hope that as many businesses in our region as possible are able to attend.
We’ll be providing updates about the event in the run up and on the day via the North East Growth Hub social media platforms. Please follow @GrowthHubNE on Twitter and North East Growth Hub on LinkedIn for all the latest news.
Find out more and register for the event here.
