Cheshire Entrepreneur Celebrates BestSeller Success as she Spearheads Book in Honour of World Mental Health Day

“After loosing a family member to suicide, I wanted to release this passion project in honour of World Mental Health day to bring pro-active mental health support to Warriors around the world.“

A local entrepreneur and mum-to-be from Macclesfield, Cheshire is celebrating becoming a bestselling author this week – after bravely sharing her own mental health journey and story of losing a loved one to suicide in a guidebook she has spearheaded on health, happiness and wellbeing - and within hours of its release, it became a bestseller on Amazon book charts.

‘The Warrior Wellbeing Toolkit’ book was spearheaded by Macclesfield-based Global Transformational Coach and Motivational Speaker, Carol-Ann Reid; she has brought together 16 collaborative authors from across the UK and beyond - authors share their inspirational insights, self-help tools, expert techniques, experiences and Warrior wisdom and each has a professional background in the personal development space, from coaches, physiologist, personal trainers to holistic and spiritual healers.

The e-book has already gone bestseller and the paperback copy will be released on the 10th October on World Mental Health Day, which this year is focusing on suicide prevention - within the book, Carol-Ann bravely shares her personal story of how she lost a loved one to suicide, she said; “After loosing a family member to suicide, I wanted to release this passion project in honour of World Mental Health day to bring pro-active mental health support to Warriors around the world. There is nothing in life that can prepare you for that type of heartbreak and the tsunami of emotions that follow. I now work with so many people who struggle with mental health or are at a cross roads in life daily and have experience of supporting with people who have been suicidal and helped to prevent suicide.”

Carol-Ann said: “It is time for us to not only raise more awareness around mental health and wellbeing, but to get proactive and learn what it takes to be a Wellbeing Warrior.”

Carol-Ann was taught in her early 20’s that limiting thoughts is something that can be changed and she created a simple concept called the ‘Worrier V’s Warrior’ way of thinking that she says changed her life forever - she overcame her own mental health struggles, fears and worries to create a life that she dreamt of.

Carol-Ann continues: “I have struggled with anxiety in the past and felt my confidence and self-belief drop to the floor many times. I work alongside people who have lost hope and come from a place of surviving rather than thriving. I grew up in the most loving, supportive home but saw people struggle to live with depression, with no professional support or guidance beyond medication and a sick note slapped into their hands. They were left with no choice but to find the Warrior within, slap on the war paint on and try to make it through the day, sometimes not for themselves, but for those that they loved unconditionally.

“If you are going through your own mental health and wellbeing journey; I honour you, I see you, I feel you. You are not alone. This book has been created to bring us together in unity. The Warrior Wellbeing Toolkit is a guidebook for men and women who want to be free from their past, feel confident and resilient in their own skin, and live an empowered life knowing that if (or when) life throws them a curve ball, they have their own unique self-help tools and techniques at their fingertips to help keep their wellbeing a top priority. In this book, we’ve brought together mind, body and spirit which is a new approach to mental health in my eyes!”

“This book is a dream come true for me – and for it to become a best-seller overnight is phenomenal!”
