Access Equity Release Wins Equity Release Adviser of the Year Award 2019

Access Equity Release has won the title of “Equity Release Adviser of the Year 2019” at the MoneyFacts Investment Life and Pensions Awards. The prestigious award includes nominations from clients as well as an expert panel of judges.

The ceremony was held at the London Park Lane Hilton 19th September. Access Equity Release has advisers nationwide and its head office is based in Surbiton, South West London.

Growing trend in quity release

Equity release is an increasingly popular tool for home owners aged 55 and over to release some of the wealth locked in their homes, usually through a lifetime mortgage. According to David Burrows, Chairman of the Equity Release Council, “The long-term trend of an ageing population with more individual responsibility for funding retirement and lifestyle needs in later life is unchanged.” “Older homeowners are recognising the benefits of including their property wealth as part of their later life financial plans.” ERC Q2 report 2019.
